Good luck Dave. It’s a shame that places have problems with telecommuting – it seems to make sense on both sides.

Thanks for the recommendation. I have gotten a lot of interest, and I’m mid-discussion with a bunch of places.

One issue that makes this all harder than it could be is that I don’t want to move, and many places don’t want telecommuters.

I agree. As much as I prefer working with people face-to-face on a day-to-day basis, I would totally hire him and trust him as a telecommuter.
