		<description><![CDATA[I don&#039;t think that I&#039;m seeing the results in msys that you did.  Perhaps there has been a change since the time of your post.  For example:

$ uname -orv
1.0.17(0.48/3/2) 2011-04-24 23:39 Msys

$ perl -e &#039;print $ARGV[0], &quot;\n&quot;&#039; &#039;/c/xxx:/c/yyy&#039;
/c/xxx:/c/yyy

$ echo &#039;/c/xxx:/c/yyy&#039;
